1) Grievance/Initiation - Form that states the issue, place to upload 'evidence' to support grievance/initation, contact info...etc.
2) Arbitrator assigned, reviews Initiation and contacts both parties (phone/email/mail) in a timely manner to offer the option to object or move forward with dismissal.
---2a) If either party does not respond within a structured amount of time, case is dismissed without prejudice.
3) Arbitrator assigns a date/time to (virtually) hear both sides.
4) Arbitrator renders a decision on a given date/time and restitution agreement if applicable. (i.e. ships jersey's back, owe's $, equipment purchased for that player...etc.)
It seems pretty easy on the outside however situations like these are usually not simple or fixed over night...unless both parties are amicable.
Just a thought for USSSA...It feels like a perfect placement for the Player Committee Board.
