What's the purpose of playing on 285-295 foot fields throughout the year when Worlds is won in Viera on the larger fields and the stadium.
I can see how sponsors would think it's a waste of money to play in conditions that are not similar to where worlds is played.
You also have to take into account the Florida wind. While the fields might be a "few feet shorter" down the lines at BLDS they might also not have the wind factor that Florida does.
Both of these together might be the reason that a lot of "A" "AA" and "MAJOR" sponsors are tired of Big League Dreams.
I am from Houston and would love a MAJOR to return to the city, but not a the cost of playing on 285 foot fields that show me nothing about my team's ability to win on fields that matter
