Well I have light of this. Unfortunately, the conference plays the rules week to week depending on the team. We had in instance in 2019 players got injured and had to forfeit and lost all the points for the event even when the Tournament director agreed to the forfeit without penalty. Fast forward to 2021 Cincy major, Xtreme had a few unfortunate injuries could not finish the tourney had to forfeit and was not penalized for this. Conference agreed it was ok for this to happen. When I asked about this was told by Conference USSSA that in 2018 the rule was changed to eliminate the grey area by stating the rule in writing. Which is any forfeit in the conference results in that team being moved to last place and no points awarded. We lost our points in 2019 and and I quote "there was nothing they could do JR doesn't want forfeits because it looks bad on live feed and for the integrity of the game and USSSA was embarrassed by the shit show performance we displayed."

So I am not aware of all the events from this past weekend but its really a coin flip how its going to be handled. Really it depends on how much money USSSA gets from the parties involved.
2019-Premier money=NO GOOD
2021-Xtreme money= GOOD, spends more than Premier
2022-Major Team= REALLY GOOD, spends more than above.

All this= nothing will happen.
