It is my belief that EVERY single bat that hits a pitcher during conference play should be cut open to see if it's been altered by unbiased USSSA parties or MAYBE even an unbiased outside firm.

I would even be willing to help organize that and pay for it. I'm not willing to lose one of my pitchers for any length of time or have them seriously hurt over player's that are cheating.

I am not saying that Big John's bat was altered, in fact I highly doubt it was. I think Flip grabbed the bat quickly because there was no reason to grab it in the first place in his opinion. (In example "who does Travis think he is trying to pick up one of our bats"

Rule enforcement has to be applied both ways and to all teams and I can't say it always is or has been. This applies to strike zones, disciplinary hearings, uniform rule enforcement, etc.

I was tossed during a Friday game because the home plate umpire was incompetent and because it was on the livestream and because I was cussing, I probably deserve a 1 game suspension.

I'd be all for it if I thought it would actually positively effect change but I currently don't have that large of a voice.

There's hope for the future if the right people take the time to COMMUNICATE and find COMMON GROUND rather than just charge at each other and scream obscenities at each other when we both know that 99% of these guys are not going to do absolutely anything.

I think that outlying 1% is on my team and I absolutely love him and wouldn't change him.
