This is a hard concept for many to understand but if you never strike out then you are not maximizing your on base percentage and you are actually being selfish and swinging at bad pitches.

Players who strike out are team players who understand the game and are secure in their person to be able to strike out once in awhile for the greater good and maximum run production.
