Re: Why is USSSA allowing 220 bats?
It's a tough spot for USSSA. Most D/E players don't really care if they play USSSA/GSL/One Nation/WSL/or whatever else. If they have a choice of two tournaments, and one has 220 bats and the other has 240 bats, they'll play the one with the 220 bats. One it's more fun, and two they don't have to buy a new bat.
D/E softball probably makes 90% of USSSA's money. I can't imagine they want to lose a chunk of that income. I'm not sure what the answer is.
