Re: These new bats standards sucks.
240s, why now? I remember seeing a clip of Dan Sanchez getting his face broke more than 15 years ago. And read in SBC interview that he to have reconstructive surgery and was out of the game for a few years. So it took that long to dumb down the bats? Lets be real about what's happening here. If you play conference you know what you signed up for. You guys are the best of the best right? Even with the 240s most of the guys in the USSSA are still very dangerous. Also by the Winner's Brackett final they sound like 220s by Sunday morning good Lawd they good! Prior to that, oh god they sound horrible! Who am I? A dude that who loves the game and has been a loyal consumer of the game as well. All the guys who retired prior to the new standards with broken body parts and life long injuries have to be like , "ain't this a ....." I'll give you the defensive part of the game plays more of a roll, but it always has. Again I ask, why now? It damn sho ain't player safety. Because if that was the case 240s would be the standard all across the board in USSSA. They've never operated that way. And I love watching Conference USSSA, just on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings now
Don't wanna fight with y'all about it. God knows I've spent enough bread on bats and caught flights to watch y'all get at it to say something....
