I very rarely get on these boards and it's actually a running joke that my assistants know more about what's going on in the softball world than I do because I think there's a lot of trash on this board.
He didn't cross the line? Why don't you just go ahead and identify yourself or tell us what number you wear on Resmondo because clearly you are biased.
If you don't think he crossed the line, then I find it hard to believe you know the whole story. I'd be glad to tell you at any tournament exactly what happened. I'm the 5'7" guy that looks like Harry Potter, let's have a handshake and discuss why it's NEVER excusable to do what Santana did last night.
He carried over some completely NON PERSONAL trash talk from the DUAL which JMAG and Keith (our catcher had worked out) and carried that over to instigate a racial accusation against our player and our team. That's INEXCUSABLE.
2021 is my 6th year in the conference and I have seen this song and dance out of Nic for way too long. I don't know Nic personally but he was an embarrassment at the challenge cup too when he tried to start a fight. IT IS AN ONGOING PATTERN.
It has no business in the conference. It's NOT good for the game.
and I'll stand by that.
And Nic if you read this and have something to say to me about it, say it next time you see me. As you said this is your job, so there's no reason for punches to be thrown.
The offer to talk it out, put it behind us, and maybe change perception is open to you as well. I will never turn my back on someone that wants to have a civilized conversation BUT...
I will always have the back of my teammates, players, and friends whether their RIGHT or WRONG... but in this case Nic, you're way out of line.
and if anyone feels differently feel free to talk to me about it. I am always open to constructive conversation whether I agree with you or not.
There needs to be more civilized talks like Jason Magnum and Keith McCormack had and less punches thrown.
