I know I watched Mike Umschied, Brian Zirkle, and Brandon Hooks hit homers in games that did not have a lot of home runs. These guys are all obviously capable but they did it when the power hitters really weren't hitting them. So its more about really squaring it up.
The parity between divisions has been good with these bats and the scores and length of games down with a lot more defense being played in my opinion.
Also pitchers have been hit but for the most part they are not missing games or tournaments due to injury.
Dombrowski is out 3 months but I believe he was reaching for a liner and popped a muscle in his upper arm and did not get hit by the ball.
