I will say to everyone if you are in a situation (softball or non softball related) where you shove someone it could lead to murder. A child hood baseball teammate of mine when he grew up and was 19 years old shoved someone outside a bar and the person fell and hit his head on a parking space block and died. The kid was charged and convicted and went to jail. Stupid things can happen when you shove someone and they lose balance.

Some of these backstops today are not just fencing. Some like space coast complex have brick or cement foundations below the fencing that someone could hit their head on.
