My view is....Barry was a hall of famed UNTIL he lied about doing steroids.

If he had held a press conference and said...

“ Aright, here is the truth...

I played clean all the way up to when the press... MLB and all the fans went crazy over Sosa and Mcguire...

if all of you are going to get all excited about fake performances by inferior players...

I am going to show you what the greatest player in the game can do on PED.

So...starting on this date (?) I started doing everything humanly possible to enhance my game through PED...

I am sincerely sorry about what I did while cheating baseball and you can get mad at me for cheating... but all of you better take a long look in the mirror because you guys silently condoned it.

At this point, I believe every stat I achieved after my steroid start date should be washed away from my baseball carrier.

Grade my playing on my pre PED days but... you better do the same thing for almost every player’s numbers during the dark days when PED were the norm. Heck.. maybe the Hall of Fame needs to build a separate wing for any player that gets into the Hall that played in these dark days.
