Where I said when "you see major players flying in and the excitement from players" that was two separate things.

You are correct, major players don't get excited for anything but the major and maybe the season opener. But the fact they are getting on the plane without pay (I think) to play softball means that it means something to them to represent their state and play with fellow state players.

What I meant was the excitement on social media from lower level players representing their state.
