The real answer is some people in softball have to satisfy their low self confidence by building out men’s softball teams. Some guys think by putting together stacked rosters or having a couple big names on your roster that somehow means you’re the best and will win automatically. It’s even more sad when you think you have to pay guys to go away for a “fun” weekend to represent their state in this tournament.
