Is anyone really buying that they want to hide PRV just so other sanctions can't use it? I don't think Cowboy Cliff and other sanctions will have any trouble getting USSSA PRVs. Guys can send in screen shots from their player locker to verify their rating. You could also register a "dummy" team to go in and add guys to and see their rating from the manager screen.
I know it could be time consuming, but its a small price to pay for the foundation of an entire ratings system. Personally I think this is all to protect directors for their classification decisions, which I don't even fault them for wanting to do with all the crying. USSSA is in a lose lose situation with reclassing guys and it should be done away with all together. On the flip side though, players ratings and roster history should be visible. Coaches/Teams should have the right to question a rosters legitimacy.
