I'm a fan of the floating rubber as well. Why wouldn't you want to give yourself the only advantage possible for a pitcher? It seems like every conference tourney, a pitcher is getting blasted. Why not change the batters line of sight? Nothing like standing 5 feet back and hitting the ceiling with a pitch, followed by a more flat one while toeing the rubber. Mix in a few pump fakes and now they don't know what's coming. You only can do so much as a pitcher, when you're still throwing the ball 5mph. I think guys don't want it because they're just following the herd and don't want to be frowned upon. I think that Andy would be that much better.
