1.) For USA Its no different then letting a certain amount of Major players play the AA in Usssa. I.e. the point limitations. So like you said before allowing teams with 9 points how does that protect the "real AA teams" that only carry 5 or less points like you said.

2.) The only people that care who wins the AA world are the AA teams. Everyone looks forward to the Major which most AA teams play in anyway.
