1. Old stamp bats ie 220 bats will be legal for play indefinitely.
They will be tested to the original 220 test that bats where made for and customer bought them for.
2. Conference events are treated differently and have their own set of rules. The current proposal thats on the table is that starting the 2021 season all conference events both men and women will be played with 240 bats. This doesn’t mean old stamp bats that test above 240 - it means they will have to have the new USSSA stamp. This is being ruled on by USSSA currently.
Per USSSA contract
1. Manufacturers had to stop manufacturing old stamp bats as of Sept 1,2020. Any manufacturer found to be still making bats after that date will have all bats put on the banned list and their USSSA license revoked.
2. All warranty bats must be replaced with New stamp bats starting Feb. 2021.
