It would be a great idea to try to have the seniors start a senior circuit with around four big events across the country but we would need to have a standard for rosters for sure and close to the same playing field rules.

Out west ... in norcal... we can play every weekend against pretty good competition so the need to play travel is very limited but.... four weekends spread out over the year sounds like fun and maybe doable.

As of now... as a guy that’s played senior ball for about 13 years...The answer to your question on why west coast teams don’t go east? My answer would be...because we don’t think (maybe because of ignorance) that there are any events worth playing.

I had a chance to play at this years usssa
smoky in the 50s and I turned it down... crap balls on a baseball size field with a stupidly high hr limit didn’t sound like it was worth going to...then again...I am not a senior bloated up on PED wanting to stand out with my power on a larger then softball field so that might explain part on it.

How about we start a new thread on trying to set up four big events in four different associations... it could be called the seniors grand slam?
