Not true. The bats that were cut open and NOT SHAVED all serial numbers are on spread sheet and tagged by team!name. Those are sent to manufacturer. You call manufacturer and tell them this bat was cut open at Major. They pull up the serial number and team name and you send it back and get replacement. Most people I am sure are going to wait till after January 1 so the replacement is a new 240 bats. I did not have one cut open, but this is exactly what was explained to me.
