If the games didn't stream properly and it was a "train wreck" then there wouldn't be any games in the archives because they only record what is streamed. And I'm pretty sure 99% of the games are in the archives.
As far as CBS Sports you have to get the ratings. If you don't it costs 10's of thousands of dollars just for two games.
The USSSA Major World Series this year may have been the best quality broadcast of a slowpitch tournament beginning to end in the history of amateur sports. The camera work was really good. The camera people were professionals that also work for the major networks.
