This only works if the Dedanatis’s all bail on usssa . and it sure looks like they are close to 2/3 of the way there.
You gotta remember...usssa HQ owns very few/if any of those baseball or fast pitch groups. All they own is the debt on that new complex being repaid with heads in beds..Almost all of usssa is a conglomerate of individual groups or tourney directors around the country. For years they have been labeled INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS.
As for Disney versus the coast of florida... If you are talking youth sports which you are saying is the money maker for usssa..there is no comparison...sand and an ocean or ALL OF THE ORLANDO AREA TOURISM and their cheaper - huge homes to rent for all the YOUNG families showing up.
Hell..the more you think about it...staying with usssa might be the wrong move all the way around... if the right leadership could head back to Orlando and work with the Tourism organization with those new complex room requirements, USSSA could be bankrupt in just a few years.
