But the "money grab" statement couldn't be further from the truth. The last 3 years they played the C before the B so all the C teams could play B and get all those entry fees. This year its B only and has less than half of the teams they normally get. So that is a money loss.
On the rooms, they do not count actual room nights. They have a formula based on the number of teams in each event. So if your B team stays there 2 nights or 5 nights it counts the same. And again if they wanted more room nights via the formula they would have put the C before the B.
So again I can understand anyone who would have liked the tournament spread out more but it actually saves teams money by having the B before the A.
