The game in reference was one of the last games of the bracket/night.

I would say if I was umping, I would of came up the line for a better view that sit behind home plate. Umps that have played the game are more instinctive than those that haven't; this could be discussed with the UIC. When I ump, the hustle to be in the right place to make the call will lesson arguments from players/coaches.
