Now, yes the team, the manager, the sponsor will blame the ump for throwing the player out if they lose but the only person that cares is that team.
If its unsportsmanlike conduct then the team has no reason to whine.
I really like what Todd Ankney does. When they play Dan Smith and someone on Dan Smith says a clear "F word". Todd calls time and goes to the umpire. He says very nicely "now you, me, and everyone in this park just heard so and so say the F Word. So my team is now allowed to say the F word without getting thrown out, right". It makes it clear to the umpire that they blew it and now they have to live with both sides saying it.
What the umpires should do is welcome the first F bomb of the game and say "Time. That player is ejected." And bring the two managers together and say "see what will happen if you say the f word?"
We don't give two F's if players get tossed. Players are a dime a dozen.
We have thousands of people paying for the livestream. Kids in attendance etc. Get rid of the unsportsmanlike conduct starting with the top teams first.
