I know of two people who think they had it and recovered, but they haven't been tested for the antigens as of yet, so they can't say for sure - but the symptoms sure seem to be consistent with the Wuhan Virus. Only one person I knew personally is said to have died from the virus. I saw him on March 5 and he looked OK then. Died on April 1.
A lot of other people I knew have passed away since March 25. 13 in all. Other than that one, causes are from other than the virus. Mostly cancers.
Both of the senior leagues I play in are on hold until at least mid-June (if we even have a season at all - thanks to the Michigan governor's overly restrictive say at home fiat that I understand has made national news). Additionally, I have had to back off from the Huntsman tournament in October to keep peace in the house. My wife thinks the risk of my catching the virus on an airplane - and bringing it home to her is too great and she's not budging.
I never, in my wildest dreams, ever imagined I would be watching a video of three drunked-up barefoot Major players running a foot race from 3 years ago. (And I'm so bored I even watched it three times, even though I don't know any of them and wasn't pulling for anybody.)
The one thing that has kept my spirits up lately though is the pleasure I get from scrolling down past and ignoring any and all posts by Tim Millette on this board. This is something that has been suggested numerous times on this board in the past few years. My only regret is that I didn't take that advice sooner.
