Re: What is everyones experience with Covid-19 (Coronavirus)?
No, it isnít that rare. We havenít even figured out a solid way to track this virus to get true numbers. They are now saying it might have been in the US as early as November or December. My sister in law almost died in December after a trip to New York for work. She tested negative for all fluís but her temp was 101+ for over a week and doctors couldnít explain what she had. She has to be admitted twice and put on a ventilator once. She was 28 and in perfect health. Everyone can make their own decision and decide how serious they want to take this. I just get annoyed when I hear people downplay it and act like you have to be 65+ to even be concerned. Plus, the masks are meant for my safety and yours. They still believe itís spread through saliva particles, so by everyone wearing a legit mask, it would mean those particles have to travel through 6+ layers of masks before hitting your nose or mouth. Science has not been able to figure out this virus, and itís not looking like we will be any closer to a cure for a few months. I just hope these guys who are posting nonstop about playing and needing to get back out there arenít ones who lost their jobs because those individuals need to be focused on something more important than their next slowpitch tourney.
