And the entire USSSA leadership has completely changed in the last 3 years. You probably didn't even know that none of the leaders from 4 years ago are still there.
I am only involved in Conference and I have no solutions for the lack of people wanting to play. Just sports go in cycles and slowpitch is cycling out.
I lump you in with the people that are doing nothing to help the game.
I put together a family coed team last summer and paid for it. It was the first time my wife, daughters, and son had ever played slowpitch. They had a blast and want to play again. But I tore my achilles and can't play sports this year and if I don't put it together (which I don't have time to do because I will be travelling covering the conference) then I bet you they won't play.
It's just the way this generation is. It was fun for them but apparently not fun enough to sign up and put it together and pay for it.
