Conference didn’t start until 2006 and ‘AA’ did not exist in 2006.
And Major and ‘A’ did exist in 2006.
The question you fail to answer is:
With so few C teams in most states and no B program in any state, how does Conference which is primarily Major, AA, and A have any negative effect on local softball?
If most states don’t have a C program let alone B, how is a handful of 30 M, AA, A teams (less than one per state on average) have any effect on local softball?
Until states have healthy C and B programs I don’t see how Conference has any relationship at all to local ball.
What you are really saying is you want local teams to still be able to make the Major World Series.
