15 of my family got off a cruise ship in early January. 5 got the flu and their doctors said they tested negative for the flu but that they had the flu nonetheless.
It started with a high fever and for the adults it was the worst flu of their life and they had trouble breathing. For the kids it started with a fever then was mild.
All survived and are doing fine. Was it just undiagnosed coronavirus? It very well could have been. So the doctors were just treating this as the flu like any other flu until the media got involved.
Most likely as it burns out like the normal flu when summer comes along it will come back in the winter and be part of our yearly flu season.
I disagree with shutting down sports and gatherings. But that is my personal opinion and I am not a doctor.
Utrip won't be asking my opinion so I have nothing to do with their decision.
I could be COMPLETELY wrong, just giving my unprofessional opinion.
What is your opinion?
