100% agree with Player's comments above. Yes this game is all about offense, but there are some really good pitchers out there at every level so why does every advantage go to the batter? Why can't the rule book be rewritten to say a batter's front foot can only be even with the front of the plate when he is set up and then the stride forward is fine? Why can't the strike zone be called correctly no matter what level is playing against each other? Why can't you have a 6 foot box or move the rubber back to 53'? No one playing today can say that the bats and the balls are not the best we have ever played with. I started in the late 80's so I have seen the progression of the game from aluminum to double walls and now composite's. The bats have truly changed the game, just as golf has changed with all their advancements as well. Yes we have to adapt, but their needs to be a ceiling or else more pitchers will get hurt. And this is at every level, not just in the conference. Sorry to babble, just want something done to help the guys that stand 50 feet away.
