"in that case PED use is exactly like swinging a shaved bitchstix.
I call them boys because I refuse to call cheaters men"
according to you cheating is cheating whether once or repeatedly, and if done once is capable of being replicated.
personally if someone is getting a cortisone shot or testosterone replacement therapy administered by a doctor and as prescribed I have no problem with it.
if offseason cortisone is now not cheating because it was over a certain age and not for the purpose of softball performance, is it then acceptable for someone that wants to feel and look younger as their purpose for use that happens to play softball? are we now to look at the primary intended purpose of use? what about someone who is into backpacking that intends to use a substance such as EPO that benefits their lung capacity allowing them to hike easier at higher elevations that then plays a softball tournament and has the added endurance to roam the outfield longer without fatigue? Its a slippery slope once you start making carveouts.
