I asked Mike Macenko that question years ago in the chat room during one of the big tourneys (Possibly the major)

Reason was that Sandy Sandavol (Ex Nor Cal upper player) got in the front door at EA sports (Madden Football) after working for Easton. Rubs shoulders to this day with Strahan, Rodman, Sanders, Gretsky, etc....

Would of been ideal at that time but it never happened.

Sandy is long gone from EA Sports doing his own sports consultation now
