I guess my only reply to what you put down is maybe the kids that are coming out of baseball are so burnt out from playing year round since they were 9-10 years old, with club ball, high school, etc..playing softball is the last thing on their minds. They just want a break. In our area, the towns I do are all ASA. USSSA only plays in a couple of spots. I enjoy reading your posts as some of the things you bring up are good ideas and comments, you just keep beating this dead horse over the message board instead of stepping up and going to the convention or even better, becoming a director. Why don't you try it for 1 year and see how it goes? You are a wealth of knowledge, put it to some good by being a leader instead of a message board.
