Re: Who’s played A/Major the longest?
Mike Macenko would know better. The guys mentioned are legends and play/played at the top level for over 20 years or more. Only going by memory, Curtis Williams started in early 70s. He made the Old Open (Pre-super class). But the highest level of ASA. He was an All American in 1977 and then in 2000, was a ASA Super National all American. 23 year gap. This impressive. I'm sure there were others back in the day who may have had some 20 plus years of doing this. Just my humble opinion. Even Mike Macenko himself played Major ball in the mid to late 70s and stayed there until the mid 90s or so.
