We defined a true B team, in my opinion. Mostly 1st year conference players, great mix of veterans & fresh young hungry talent, a team that was ALL about the teams success and didn't worry about individual performance as long as the team won, no major players (i don't think).
Large portion of the players went on and played for some very good teams and had great success. I imagine as a coach that is the ultimate feather in the cap, give players the stage to perform so higher level teams can witness their talent & support them to make the move up.
2009 B worlds had some really good teams in it, and there were 4 or 5 teams that could have won it.
We were just better than everyone the weekend they won B worlds. Our whole team just happened to be 100% locked in and performed all together for that one weekend in September.
