Throw in he is pitching as an aging vet in the composite era and it is even more impressive.
Man...that didnít hurt as much as some probably thought it would.
Many, like me, might not think his antics are good for the game at times but..you cannot name anyone that has dominated at the most difficult position on the field for such a long time...
Maybe there were a, few year career guys, that showed greatness for a few years...but I rate a greatest player by longevity as more then a great hitter that ends up playing 1b, catcher or AH. So you can throw out a corner infielder or catcher, ah guys...they already lost out to Andy even if they could marginally outhit him.
