I think bringing the art of base hitting back into the game is a positive thing, would get more inexperienced/ young players playing and pitchers feeling a small bit safer.
Senior bats DEFINATELY need a standard also - 200 would be a good number there. Senior bats testing 120-130 is very dangerous, you are taking average hitters and making them home run threats. The idea for senior bats being lower testing bats was for the 60-65-70 year old players, not 50-55 year olds just fresh out of regular men's softball. I mean a 200 test bat is still stupid good isn't it?
