.44 375s are noticeably better than classic Ms in extreme heat. Both will get mushy, but the .44 375 will rebound off the bat better and have more bounce. As for being hard on bats, .44 375s are no harder on bats than classic Ms. In fact, classic Ms are actually harder on bats than .44s in cold weather. Classic Ms can reach 600 compression. Anyone who's ever hit a ZN in under 60 degrees knows what I'm talking about.
Some of you people need to give this ball a chance before coming on here and just mindlessly bitching about it. For Viera it will be a good ball to use. Better than a classic M, but not like a stadium.
Also, the .44 375 won't quite be as sensitive to temperature as classic Ms are. The compression won't fluctuate as much.
