I believe Pure Sports released Messer, Flip, Greinert, and Williams at the end of April because they had Anarchy bat contracts. I don't think anyone involved was upset at anyone on the other side. They just parted ways amicably.
All of the conference teams were reminded during the off season, again at the start of the season, and again at the end of June that roster points are an off season team building tool and an in season maximum and that teams that are at the top of their division can't continue to pick up higher level players. And that all pickups had to be approved.
Same letter we've sent to all of the teams for the last 5 years.
Yet Bay Area still picked up Radich.
Precision tried to pick up Bilardello and was denied. They did pick up Guill.
Thunder picked up Baartman but was denied Dillon.
I am sorry so many people involved in Thunder are upset but the harassment of committee members must stop.
Thunder is probably the favorite or one of the favorites to win the 'AA' considering they have hardly lost to a AA team since becoming AA at the end of April.
None of this means the top teams including Thunder can't pick up players. The deadline is midnight Friday night August 9th.
