As a sponsor, wouldn't you want your players think they have a chance every tourney? With the mindset that the team is not making any Sunday games can mean the player is their fir the experience and not win? Maybe re-evaluate yr roster cause I've seen guy be happy to be there, but can't wait to get home.
I've had the opportunity in my big playing days to fly to 6-8 tournies a year, going as for as Mich, Mn, La, Texas, and Al for a weekend getting home after midnight Sunday night to wake up 3-5 hrs later to go to work.
Mental mindsets for players can affect their weekends output? Every hear the guy say that hope we loose so we can jam, or "can this game be over already" are some phrases I'd keep in mind when choosing a team.
Hungry, die-hard, committed ballers regardless the task at hand gets it done! Obviously this does not go into.play on Major or AA teams cause they usually there. As a B team, we placed high when the Dudley was great, 2nd in Wa when it started drawing a lot more A teams.
Players need to know what they getting themselves into Pryor to commiting, but is this only a problem when the West/East cross the Nation's mid-lune?
I see Portland has over 20, but none across Nation's mid-line? I remember playing in Wa when you had to win NIT to qualify for Major Worlds, and that year you had teams making the trip to get that berth.
