Look at the standings this season and the parity of the conference. Look at the who has been playing on Sundays in each tournament. I was not implying that a lower ranked team should routinely beat a higher classification, that to me would point to the team needing to be bumped midseason for performance in terms of what world they go to at the end of the year. However, that does not impact at all that Conference is an open league with no roster restrictions. Somehow Classic Glass manages to get ranked AA yet is in the bottom quarter of all conference teams.
You have 3 AA teams and 1 A team ranked in front of a major team. You have a AA team ranked 32 with A, B, and gasp a C team ranked in front of them.
Pick any level and generally the top teams, other than major which is unlimited, is pushing the envelope on classification. We saw last year AA teams avoid picking up one player because it would push them to Major. I highly doubt it would have been that drastic of a price increase to the sponsor to add that one player and drop a player.
Nothing is guaranteed in this game. Look at pretty much any tournament this season.
Not sure what you mean by having a rebuttal ready on restrictions on paying players, that's your topic. I'm definitely intrigued to hear your rebuttal to yourself as your sentence implies.
