No sir, the Conference rules DO NOT change from weekend to weekend. So that part of the argument is 100% invalid. The rest of your statement, I agree with totally. If you have been on here a while, I am all for tossing players/coaches/managers for threatening an umpire or acting like a total d-bag. But umpires do have to allow a little bit of discussion/argument when a call is in question. 90% of the time when a person argues with an umpire, they are usually just wanting the umpire to admit that he could have been wrong. But a lot of these umpires won’t swallow that ego/pride and admit that so it just makes the person more irate.
Was there even a UIC at the event??? If so, his name should definitely be put out there so USSSA knows who to deal with and train for future events.
