New to this.... if you are a 2A director, what are the performance expectations for your program?
Do you march middle schoolers?
Does middle school play at high school football games?
Is marching band comprised of just high school?
How many concerts do you perform each year at beginner/junior high/high school level?
And what grade level of music do you typically get to at each level by the end of the year?
Also how many directors do you have?

We march 8th graders but they are invited after a year long evaluation in 7th grade (grades, attendance, improvement, auditioning for All-Region, etc.).
Our middle school does not play at a football game.
2 district concerts.
6th grade - goal is always grade 1 lit. JH Band - grade 2 (grade 1s for UIL) HS Band - depends on the year. Grade 3/Easier grade 4 spring concert (Grade 2/easier grade 3 for UIL)
3 directors on staff.

We march some 8th graders, but there are criteria they have to meet.
Middle school plays during the first half of senior night.
2 concerts - Christmas and Spring for all bands. I'm trying to get it where the beginners don't play until the Spring concert.
Right now, I am very lacking in low brass - 1 x trombone, 1 x baritone, 2 x tubas, so I'm restricted by instrumentation. I'd like to play grade 2.5-3
