Drill Writer Needed

Posted by Jeff on 5/27/2026, 12:36 pm

Hello! Due to a last minute retirement, I am searching for a drill writer. Small school, 50 winds and percussion. Not looking to farm it out to a "company," would like it a little more personal.

Please email if you are willing and available: jbellgardt@meisd.org

I second Fred Meyer. I've used him the past 8 years. He does great work.

I am sure you probably found one by now, but in the future, a number of drill people advertise here:

Hi!

I am a band director and part time drill writer. I have only written for my band but I’d love to start taking on other clients.

Here is my cell number: 210-773-3288
Let’s chat.

David

If you are still looking, reach out to Fred Meyer at Gulf Coast Drill. He does great work, especially for small schools!
