What are some of the best (and musical) SR pieces (Levels I - VI) we have had over the last few years? (this is a POSITIVE post! LOL)

2023 Level 6 - Appalachia by Tim Rhea
2025 Level 6 - Beautiful Seattle by William Owens
2019 Level 3 - Intrepid by Jack Wilds

Intrepid was LEGIT! One of the best Level 3's written to date. Also Beautiful Seattle was written by Leandre Benton. Absolutely beautiful work and fits perfectly for a Level 6.

Agree with all of this! Don't think Willie did Beautiful Seattle though? Pretty sure that was another name, but can't recall who.

I thought the Lebel 6 Nettleton this year was amazing as a listener. The HS band i feed into had parents in the audience in tears at how good it was. Really great work

I remember my students asking if they could play Cops and Robbers for the spring concert!

I've played Cops & Robbers with my beginning band for a spring concert before. There's no reason not to. It's a good piece.
