I teach in a very low eco community. I feel like I have given everything I can but I am just out of energy.
Any suggestions on surviving to the end of the year?

1. Get quality sleep.
2. 15 minutes minimum of sunshine daily, preferably morning sun.
3. No: junk food, high fructose corn syrup.
4. Lunch at school: 2-3 boiled eggs, an apple, water or green tea.
5. No white sugar. Use organic honey or monk fruit.
6. Check out Dr. Joel Wallach. He has great advice for eating to heal and maintain the body.

Get out of the band hall. Go for a walk. Find those other people who live in your house and look a bit like you - that's your family. If you don't have a family get a dog and take the dog for a walk. Find a hobby that isn't band.
This job can take everything you have and more, if you let it. It took me a few years to realize that.

How much do you have left on your plate before the end?
How much of that *must* happen, and how much of that would not be missed if it didn’t? Cut those things.
If you’ve got administrative things to do, make a list, set a timer each day, and do as much as you can in that time period as you can, and when you leave, don’t take it home.
Spend some time doing something you enjoy with your communications device turned off. I also recommend finding some outside time. I’m not an exerciser, but even I drag my large rear end outside to get some sun and fresh(ish) air for my mental health.
