As much as it pains me . . .

What legitimate Grade 5's Can I do without ANY double reeds?

We just did Red Rock Mountain. There's a short oboe duet that I rewrote to clarinets. None of the judges commented on that change and we got straight 1s.

Both pieces are written for smaller bands and have ALL of those parts cued all of the place. I have done both with zero double reeds many times successfully.
