I have a euphonium Student with a disability. His left hand side does not work well. He’s not able to hold the euphonium close to his body. That would help him where it’s more stable on his lips.

Any easy suggestions to help. He is smart and can adjust. Also a beginner.

Any suggestions.

Regardless of the equipment you get for this student, you should NOT be having to pay for it yourself out of the band budget. Check with their 504 campus coordinator to make sure that this accommodation meets their needs and can be provided by the school/district for them to perform in the classroom with their peers.

A tuba harness or a tuba stand might help.
