Ever had kids in their baseball uniforms at UIL?

Scheduling was not in my favor this year.

Do what you have to do, If a judge has an issue, they should not be judging.

I judged a group who had a couple kids in their track uniforms one year. I sure wouldn't hold it against those kids. They're still in a 'uniform,' and especially any small school director is going to recognize the fact that sometimes our kids are pulled in 40 directions this time of year! If I see that, personally I'm just glad you had the kid and were able to work out what is a very stressful situation for the benefit of your kids!

Yes, several times. Whatever it takes. I've had the bus swing by the baseball stadium on the way home from contest to drop kids off.
