Flex Band for UIL

Have any of you small school directors played a flex band arrangement for UIL? If so, what pieces?

It's a good question. A lot of us have been flex scoring for a long time by rewriting parts to fit instrument discrepancies. The following suggestions may not align with your values: use flex parts for your band and give full scores to your judges. A step further is to give judges piano scores only to further hide instrumentation.

Or, if you have true old school judges, just give them the flute part and they can figure it out from there.
